Application form for getting a driving license is available in Tanzania Revenue Authority contact linkApplicant has to procure the prescribed application form for this service from the Tanzania Revenue Authority.Applicant has to provide all information in the application form.Applicant should make sure to carry photocopies and originals of all documents that are necessary for completing this procedure.Documents that are needed for this procedure is mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this page.Applicant has to attach all documents (photocopies and originals whichever is needed) along with the application form before submitting it in the office.Fee for this procedure has to be paid as per authority’s request.After submitting the application form, biometric information of the applicant is taken by concerned authorities at the office.If the application gets approved by concerned authorities, applicant has to head to the department of traffic offices in Tanzania for taking a driver’s test.If the applicant passes the test the license will be issued by concerned authorities.If all above-mentioned procedures were followed properly, the license will be provided to the applicant within 1 week.Applicant will receive a notification from concerned authorities regarding the availability of the license, they can visit the office for collecting their licenses.If there is no information regarding their license, applicant can visit the office to know the status of their application.
