Warehouse Assistant (Mwanza)
Reporting to: Branch Warehouse Manager
Wasoko is searching for a stellar warehouse assistant to be based in Dodoma. Your role is to help in daily warehousing activities as allocated by the Branch Warehouse Manager. These roles range from, stock issuance, transfers, offloading and reconciliation.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Stock Loading-Allocate tuk-tuks in loading zones in a manner that eases issuance and ensures transparency.
- Ensure stock issuance is done against Delivery notebook and no excess or less stock issued, guide agents on best practices for stock arrangement in their tuk-tuk
- Stock Transfers-Present all Delivery Notes for system transfer, do system stock transfer against Delivery note, verify transfers against variance page.
- Ensure all replenishment done after morning loading is reflected in the system transfer.
- Stock Cash Reconciliation-Assist agent to well understands requirements for a successful reconciliation.
- Confirm on agents reported counts, carryout daily Agent stock reconciliation, Carryout daily agent cash reconciliation, Follow up with agent to know the cause of excess or short.
- Supplier deliveries-Receive delivery notes and invoices and present to the Warehouse managers
- Take part in offloading whenever required, receive products against delivery note, report any excess, less or damaged delivered stock to warehouse manager.
- Ensure all deliveries are stored in respective warehouses in an organised manner
- Stock Taking-Carryout weekly physical stock take as required by the warehouse manager.
- Ensure counts are accurate and in selling units, file the reported counts for reference.
- Assist in tuk-tuk stock take whenever required.
- Help in data entry, attention to detail, integrity, work ethic, willingness to learn, capacity to thrive in a high-pressure environment, time-keeping.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will possess:
- 3+ years of experience in warehouse
- Highly organized and able to store items efficiently
- Pays attention to details and monitors the quality of inventory
- Able to work independently
- Able to multitask

Warehouse Data Clerk (Mwanza)
Role: Warehouse Data Clerk.
Location: Mwanza, Tanzania.
Reporting to: Branch Warehouse Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Compiles all daily, weekly, and monthly warehouse inventory reports as assigned by the BWHM
- Transfers physically issued stock into the Wasoko web platform
- Carry-out agents daily stock and cash reconciliation
- Issue and replenish agents with stock as indicated on their Delivery Notebooks
- Carryout main warehouse stock take and random Tuk Tuks counts as assigned by the Branch Warehouse Manager
- Ensures that delivered products matches LPO quantities
- Updates LPO trackers and inventory tracker
- Any other duties as may be assigned to them by the Branch Warehouse Manager
Requirements;
- Degree or diploma in supply chain management or related field.
- Must have a minimum working experience of 2 years in a warehouse in a busy FMCG setup
- Computer literacy MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint e.t.c,
- Good Communication and Interpersonal Skills

Field Sales Manager
The Field Sales Manager is responsible for driving territory revenue growth and profit margins. The key primary responsibility for this role will be to execute and inform Wasoko’s customer growth strategy. The person in charge will also build and manage a Growth team and lead all customer-facing functions including but not limited to, acquisition, engagement/ retention, and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute Wasoko’s growth plan, and growth programs, and optimize our revenue funnel.
- Execute a robust, agile and effective Route to Market strategy to reach and serve all customers within their territory.
- Drive the execution and enhancement of the Wasoko Customer Experience;
- Maintain a deep understanding of market structure changes (eg. pricing, new entrants, new products, new technologies);
- Acquire new customers within the designated territory and ensure retention of existing customers;
- Ensure customer order and replenishment cycles are clearly defined, maintained and adhered to.
- Increase the Wasoko Customer App adoption and within the covered customers
- Increase and maintain product weight, range and availability in all stores within the coverage
- Supervise, Coach, Train and Motivate the Customer Growth and Retention teams for Performance in relation to the targets set and build a winning spirit within the team
- Gather and provide competitive information by regularly tracking competitor activities within the industry.
- Using market insights to maximize sales effectiveness and efficiency
- Previous experience leading a direct selling team is a plus
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in sales and marketing, business development, customer service, or related field with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Ability to lead diverse teams, and provide data-based reporting and quantitative intuition for interpreting user experience data
- Ability to analyze data and sales statistics and translate results into numbers and solutions

Dispatch Lead
Location: Zanzibar, Tanzania
Role: To primarily focus on customer service, fulfillment and asset care.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain an up to date record of all the assets assigned, mileage on fueling and service, next inspection and insurance dates and new or spare tyre change dates
- Ensure efficiency in fueling process
- Keep track of vehicles, spare parts inventory usage and records of purchases
- Set up maintenance scheduled by ensuring routine maintenance, servicing and minimal uptime during break downs
- Carryout frequent drivers training on road safety measures, defensive driving, fueling requirements and overall vehicles hygiene
- Carry out weekly and end of month spare parts inventory count or any other parts inventory count as may be deemed necessary by the business
- Manages accident reports and provides details based on RCA.
- Assign vehicles to the drivers
- Make sure vehicles are always ready and available to meet orders by scheduling and monitoring current trends in customer coverage
- Ensure vehicles and drivers comply with government regulations
Qualifications:
- At least two years of experience in a logistics role,
- Detail-oriented and good problem-solving skills They should have exceptional analytical abilities and organizational skills.
- They need to be knowledgeable in computer applications.

Branch Logistics Manager
Location; Zanzibar, Tanzania
The role; Lead the logistics function at the branch level from warehouse to stock ordering and delivery to Wasoko customers
Duties and Responsibilities
Continuous improvement effort to the LCS SOPs with an aim to:
- Enhance the customer experience journey promoting retention
- Enhance the work experience of the logistics team
- Promote productivity and efficiency
- Eliminate risk
Primarily focused on inventory management (*commodities and spare parts)
- Follow up on best practices for weekly spot check counts and end moth cross-functional inventory count
- Own and drive inventory counts, ensuring for:
- Continuously have a clear line of visibility on OOS, updating the tracker on a real-time basis, to give visibility to the LCS Manager for support on the replenishment cycle
Document and track on a real-time basis all price conflicts (where PO value/quantity is not equal to supplier AP invoice value/quantity) thus giving visibility to the LCS
On-time and quality inventory audit reporting
Inventory movements reported are realistic i.e. no fictitious over or under-reporting of inventory quantities
Document and track all supplier deliveries to provide valuable insights to the LCS Manager for replenishment cycle adjustment/review
Throttle up any inventory-related issues to the business for support where FMCG BU intervention is required or through the LCS Manager for strategic decision/support where necessary
Adopt and maintain standardized inventory reporting templates across the country
Analyze branch inventory movement reports and surface analytics to the LCS Manager for ease of decision-making e,g.
- Inventory Movement Report with OBs and CBs
- Shrinkage Performance with comprehensible comments
- Slow Moving Inventory as per product, quantity, and amounts
- Agent Shorts with exhaustive comments
Gate keep and surface feedback on the TOP X SKUs product mix performance and off-take
Own, drive and encourage good warehousing practice e.g.
- Bin management
- Visual management – pallets staging area, gangways, etc
- 5S( Clearing, Organizing, Cleaning, Standardising, Sustaining)
Requirements;
- A degree in Logistics/supply chain
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position
- Experience using inventory management systems (ERP or SAP) is an added advantage
- Experience managing a team.
- Attention to detail & Good analytical skills
- Mature, self-initiative, and positive attitude
