Similarly, we have provided telecommunication Network Solutions across Africa.Our Managed Services (Maintenance) division provides complete maintenance solution for the mobile industry. This Covers all managed Services for both Active and Passive telecommunication network.Likewise, our Solution Division provides a complete range of Network Testing, Monitoring and Management solutions to address all the requirements for the telecommunication Industry. Similarly it has on board business solution particularly addressing the communication sector. In the same token Broadband Communication Networks is a Mega Value added Reseller for mobile Broadband manufactured by Nokia Solutions Networks (NSN), a leading global Manufacturer of Mobile equipments. This puts our organization at a very good position as we can now provide Network Operators with End to end Mobile Network Solutions to meet all their requirements. JOB TITLE: HEALTH, SAFETY AND MATERIAL OFFICER (Positions 2)

Location: Dar es salaam

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The primary responsible for health and safety and control of project materials
REPORTS TO: Project Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:

In charge of health and safety measures in the organization
Advising the management on health and safety issues and ensuring the company complies with Health and Safety regulation
Monitoring and controlling safety and compliance in the organization as per the law and organization’s policy & procedures
Carrying out safety inspections and internal audits and reporting to management with recommendations
Ensure preventive measures, administrative control and personal protective equipment are implemented and used
Investigate and report accidents and near misses
Record keeping of all safety events, training and equipment’s
Initiate disciplinary process to those who do not adhere to health and safety
Take responsibility for all project materials and ensure Delivery of site material for Projects.
Manage quality and risk plans of all project by ensuring they adhere to health and safety
Provide completed documentation of projects materials, and health & safety activities
Any other related duty as may be assigned by the Supervisor.

MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Diploma or Degree in environmental health and safety, Telecommunication or related field
2-3 years’ experience in Health and Safety and material management
Working knowledge and experience of environment, health and safety
Working knowledge of emergency and safety procedures
Working knowledge of laws and regulations related to the environment and workplace health and safety
NEBOSH HSE Training is an added advantage
