## Duties and Responsibilities

 1.  To perform general cleanness of vessel;
 2.  To ensure that equipment, utensils and place of work are clean.
 3.  To maintain rescue boats;
 4.  To stand lookout watch;
 5.  To perform painting works of the vessel;
 6.  To direct loading and offloading of cargo;
 7.  To perform lashing and rope works;
 8.  To perform laundry duties;
 9.  To maintain gangway watch to prevent unauthorized person from boarding ship;
 10. To respond as emergency team member during vessel emergencies;
 11. To resolve or refer passenger problems to the mate;  and
 12. To perform any other duties as may be assigned by the superior.

## Qualifications

Holder of Form IV Certificate of Secondary Education (CSEE) or Form VI Advanced 
Certificate of Secondary Education (ACSEE) . Applicant must have Basic Mandatory
Certificates as per STCW95 and Rating Forming Part of Navigation Watch (RFPNW) and
Sea Service of not less than one (1) year in a relevant field.
