THE INSTITUTE OF CONSTRUCTION TECHNOLOGY
The Institute of Construction Technology (ICoT) is an Institute under the Ministry of Work and Transport (Works Sector) established on the 6th of February 2017, by the National Council for Technical Education with full registration as a Technical Education and Training Institution. ICoT aims to provide professional training in the construction industry using the state of art technology for sustainable and socioeconomic needs of Tanzania.
ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT OFFICER II -1 POST
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- To maintain books of accounts for recurrent and development expenditure;
- To maintain payment vouchers;
- To post revenue and expenditure to the books of accounts;
- To prepare various report for all collected cash;
- To assist in preparing financial reports as may be required;
- To assist in monitoring Institute performance against targets; and
- To perform any other related duties as may be assigned by Supervisor from time to time.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Diploma in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration majoring in
- Accountancy or Finance or equivalent qualifications from recognized institutions or ATEC II offered by NBAA.
REMUNERATION PACKAGE – AS PER GOVERNMENT SALARY SCALE
GENERAL CONDITIONS
- All applicants must be Citizens of Tanzania generally with an age not above 45 years of age except for those who are in Public Service;

- Certificates from foreign examination bodies for Ordinary or Advanced level education should be verified by The National Examination Council of Tanzania (NECTA).
- Professional certificates from foreign Universities and other training institutions should be verified by The Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU) and National Council for Technical Education (NACTE);
