About Public Service (UTUMISHI WA UMMA)
Public Service and Good Governance is a full-fledged ministry under the Office of the President and overseen by the Minister under the oversight of the Permanent Secretary and the Deputy Permanent Secretary who all jointly coordinate the day-to-day operations of the Ministry.
One of the responsibilities of the ministry is to oversee all aspects of the service by protecting the values of the public servant.
Tanzania is one of the countries that governs good governance, so the government saw the need for the presence of the Ministry which is under the supervision of the President of the United Republic of Tanzania. Public Service Office on behalf of the Office of the Prime Minister, Labor, Youth, Employment and the Disabled, would like to inform all job applicants that interviews are expected to be conducted from 08 – 10 January, 2022 and finally arrange job vacancies for successful applicants.

Those called to the interview should adhere to the following instructions: –
i. Interviews will be held from 08-10 January, 2022 as indicated in this announcement; the time and place at which the interview will take place is specified for each cadre;ii. A screening (writing) interview for all cadres will be held on January 08, 2022 and a face-to-face interview will be held on January 10, 2022.iii. Each interviewee is required to arrive at the interview area wearing a mask, washing with soap and running water, cleaning hands, wearing formal work clothes and it is also advisable to wear heavy clothing due to the cold weather for the period in Dodoma.iv. Every Interviewee should have an ID for identification;v. Acceptable IDs include: – Resident ID, Voter ID, Job ID, Citizenship ID or Passport; A candidate who misses any of the identification marks will not be allowed to continue the interview;vi. Candidates are required to arrive with their REAL CERTIFICATES, starting with birth certificate, Form IV, VI, Diploma, Higher Diploma, Degree and onwards depending on the applicant’s qualifications;vii. Candidates who will submit Testimonials, Provisional Results, Statement of results, Form IV and VI results slips THEY WILL NOT BE ALLOWED AND WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO CONTINUE WITH THE INTERVIEW;viii. Each interviewee will pay for food, transportation and accommodation;ix. Each interviewee should take into account the date, time and place of the interview;x. For applicants who have studied outside Tanzania to ensure that their Certificates are verified and approved by the relevant Authority (such as TCU, NACTE or NECTA);xi. Applicants whose names did not appear in this advertisement should note that they did not meet the criteria. Therefore, do not hesitate to apply again when vacancies are advertised and comply with the requirements of the relevant advertisement.xii. For jobs that are required to be registered with their Professional Boards they must come with their Real Registration Certificates as well as Operating Licenses.xiii. All interviewees called for an interview should make sure they log into their account and copy the test number as those numbers will not be released on the day of the interview.
