Job Title: Bancassurance Sales Lead
Job Level: Supervisory
Reports To: Bancassurance Manager
Overview:
Financial Responsibility: N/A
Leadership Responsibilities: To supervise insurance champions across the network
Purpose of Role: Responsible to drive sales to contribute to profitable Bancassurance business growth & assist management in other business functions.
Duties &Accountabilities
• Develop sales plan and deliver sales targets
• Build a good customer base in order to explore opportunities to cross-sell & up-sell
• Strengthen business relationship with partner insurance companies and maximize business opportunities
• To collect market intelligence on competitors’ activities including competitors’ products, pricing, catalogues, selling tactics, etc.
• To liaise with other departments for operational efficiency and to maximize customer satisfaction
• Embed control & compliance awareness culture
• Understand risk underwriting and profit drivers dynamics
• To assist and participate in new product and market development.
Qualifications and Experience/skills Required:
• Bachelor degree in Insurance, Business Administration or related fields
• Certification in insurance will be an added advantage.
• At least 3 years’ experience in sales and relationship management
• Proven sales track record within Banking, MFI, Insurance and related industries will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge in Credit Analysis and Monitoring, Financial Accounting as well as general knowledge of Banking policies and procedures.
• Result-oriented, proactive with good communication & presentation skill
