Post Title: INFORMATION AND TECHNOLOGY
SUMMARY
The information and communication support specialist are responsible for ensuring smooth functioning of all information technology across the organisation and will provide direct technical assistance and support to ASFA Staffs for network, hardware and software issues.
Location: Mwanza HQ Offices
KEY RESPONSABILITIES
- To troubleshoot and solve hardware problems
- To maintain website, social medias pages, database
- To control network and shared printers
- To monitor camera system and enhance data security
- To provide participants with instructions on how to operate their equipment
- To maintain rapport with participants by examining complaints regarding system and identifying solutions;
- To document service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records;
- To install the latest software’s and to demonstrate usage
- To perform any other related duty assigned by the manager
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Computer science, information technology or equivalent 3 years of working experience and ability to work well independently Graphics design certificate preferred.
Post Title: PLANNER /SCHEDULER – (2 POST)
SUMMARY
We are looking for punctual candidates with good time management skills for the position of Planner/scheduler who is responsible for Plans, schedules, coordinates and/or monitors the flow of products through the complete production cycle. Provides timely planning and scheduling of manufacturing work orders to the manufacturing floor in order to achieve both internal financial goals and customer delivery dates.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design all project schedule and contract agreements and ensure integrity of data in all project life cycle and prepare required reports to provide support to all clients.
- Prepare an efficient Contract Master Schedule and maintain knowledge of all key project milestones. Administer project from conceptualization to implementation and evaluate all issues.
- Design all planning controls for various levels and fabricate all resources.
- Design an efficient engineering schedule and prepare all vendor packages in coordination with project technical directors.
- Ensure compliance to schedule and manage all project deliverables and recommend increase in all engineering processes.
- Administer all projects and assist in appropriate distribution of all project hours.
- Evaluate all man hours spent for various activities and prepare accurate reports for same and maintain record of all project progress.
- Evaluate all fabrication site and vendor schedule and ensure adherence to contract master schedule. Ensure efficiency of all schedule plant production with help of ERP business system software.
- Collaborate with all cross functional team to maintain quality assurance for all activities.
- Assist to identify and resolve all issues in normal operations and manage all communication for all schedule disruption.
- Design and manage all stock transfer requests for ERP system.
- Perform audits on various plans and prepare all required documents and provide required training to all subordinates.
- Provide support to all process control operations and recommend improvements.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s or equivalent degree/experience combination in projects planning and/or engineering.
- Three-year experience of using MS Project, Mechanical and electrical system automation, SAP.
- Subject matter expertise using MS Project to manage an integrated master schedule and the supporting detailed schedules.
- Extremely proficient in MS Office .
- Superior interpersonal and demonstrated facilitation skills, including the ability to motivate and influence others, build effective interpersonal relationships, and be able to foster and contribute to a positive and productive team environment.
- Creative and innovative with assignments. Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in work style to better respond to multiple requests/tasks and handle sudden changes in priorities. Able to embrace and participate in change initiatives.

Post Title: SENIOR ACCOUNTANT
SUMMARY
Accountant will be an integral part of an administration and finance support team to perform a variety of activities in accordance with accounting principles and standards to control the company’s financial resources and ensure that it complies with all relevant regulations, laws and reporting requirements. Follow established procedures and guidelines to accurately maintain the organization’s financial records and transactions.

KEY RESPONSABILITIES
- Checks and analyzes financial information and prepares more complex financial reports and accounting statements so that senior management has accurate and timely information for making financial decisions.
- Coordinates the issuance of monthly financial reports such as: Income Statement, Balance sheet, Account consolidation, and consolidation of Tangible and Intangible assets, weekly and monthly Margins. Budget reports, Investment Projects control. Prepare Reports weekly, monthly and annually. Assist in development of budget. Perform and review account reconciliations
- Schedules monthly tax payments, VAT (with the monthly sales and purchases records), perform reconciliation of income tax withholdings, arrange payments on accounts, keep records of excise duties deducted by the Bank for payments made to suppliers
- Keeps control of such legal books and records of accounts as: General Ledger, Sales records, purchase records, Inventory
- Assists in managing the credit process by working closely with internal /external auditor to ensure that the required information is provided timely so that the audit can be completed as scheduled.
- Assists in preparation of annual financial report including financial statements, notes, supporting schedules, transmittal letter and statistical information
- Trains, tests and ensures integrity of the financial system (controls and technology). Train, test and maintain the financial software system and its integrity
- Prepare provisional tax returns and ensure that provisional tax payments are done timely
- Prepares VAT returns on monthly basis and submit to TRA on time.
- Procure and manage suppliers, vendors and service provider relationships such as the internet providers etc.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent
- 4/5 years of experience in an industrial business
- CPA holder preferred.
- Experience in preparing budgets
- Computer literacy especially Advanced Excel/word/power point & familiarity with tally or ERP system especially NAVISION system, Database Management
- Knowledge of applicable local laws, codes and regulations
- Ability to compile, analyses data and prepare complex financial reports and statements
- Highly energetic and results oriented
- Analytical, judgement and attention to details
- Fluent in English (other languages will be a plus)
- Ability to prioritize and schedule work

SUMMARY
We are looking for punctual candidates with good time management skills for the position of driver. Drivers are responsible for logistic operations in a timely manner, sometimes should work on nights and weekends and ensuring that vehicles are always ready for use.
Drivers will need to lift heavy objects and load them into their vehicles, requiring upper body strength and physical stamina.

KEY RESPONSABILITIES
- Transporting staffs from office to home and vice versa.
- Carrying out vehicle maintenance checks.
- Delivering packages to customers in a timely manner.
- Picking up office purchases or other administrative needs.
- Utilizing navigation apps to find the most optimal route.
- Interacting with clients in professional conduct.
- Working at night or on weekends if needed
- Maintaining an organized travel schedule.
- Ensuring that vehicles have sufficient fuel and are always ready for use.
- Arranging for vehicle repairs when necessary.
- Updating monthly mileage records.
- Driving a variety of vehicles, including motorbikes, cars, buses and trucks.

REQUIREMENTS
- A minimum Form four certificate
- A valid driver’s license with class D, E and C,C1,C2,C3 has added advantage 5-years driving experience.
- Extensive knowledge of the operating area.
- Physical strength and ability to lift up to 20kg Excellent organizational and time management skills.

- Good verbal communication.
