The Public Service Recruitment Secretariat (PSRS/UTUMISHI) is a government organ with a status of independent Department established specifically to facilitate the recruitment process of employees to the Public Service.

Secretary of the Secretariat for Employment in the Public Service on behalf of The University Dar es Salaam (UDSM),  Dar es Salaam University College of Education  (DUCE), Ministry of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, Ministries, Departments, Independent Institutions and Local Government Authorities, Tanzania Broadcasting Company (TBC), National Museum (NMT), Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences (MUHAS), Mbeya University of Science and Technology (MUST) would like to inform all  job applicants that interviews are expected to take place from  28 January – 05 February, 2023  and finally assign job centers to job applicants who will pass the interview.

Respondents called for interview should adhere to the following instructions: –

i. Interviews will be held from 28 January – 05 February, 2023 as indicated in this announcement; the time and place at which the interview will take place is specified for each cadre;

ii. Each Interviewee should accurately quote his / her Qualifications and Acquisition interview numbers, those numbers are available in each Applicant’s account in the job application system

iii. Each interviewee is required to arrive at the interview area wearing Barakoa(Mask);

iv. Every Interviewee should have an ID for identification;

v. Acceptable IDs include: – Resident ID, Voter ID, Citizenship ID or Passport;

vi. Candidates are required to arrive with their REAL CERTIFICATES, starting with birth certificate, Form IV, VI, Diploma, Higher Diploma, Degree and onwards depending on the applicant’s qualifications;

vii. Interviewees who will present “Testimonials”, “Provisional Results”, “Statement of results”, Form 

IV and form VI results slips will not be accepted and will not be allowed to continue with the interview;

viii. Each interviewee will pay for food, transportation and accommodation

ix. Each interviewee should take into account the date, time and place of the interview;

x. For applicants who have studied outside Tanzania to ensure that their certificates are verified and approved by the relevant Authority (such as TCU, NACTE or NECTA)

xi. Applicants whose names did not appear in this advertisement should note that they did not meet the criteria. therefore, do not hesitate to apply again when vacancies are advertised and comply with the requirements of the relevant advertisement.

xii. For cadres who are required to register with their Professional Boards they must bring their Real Registration Certificates as well as their Licenses to work.

xiii. All interviewees called for an interview should make sure they log into their account and copy the test number as those numbers will not be released on the day of the interview.

xiv. Mobile use will not be allowed in the  test room.
