Positon; OPERATION MANAGER
Qualifications and Experiences;
Applicant must have a B.Sc. Engineering or Diploma (Civil) in Water works.
A diploma must have a working experience of not less than 5 years in the field of water supply field. Graduates must have a working experience of 2 years.
Must be able to speak and write fluently in English and Swahili.
Main Duties
» To ensure effective and efficient operation and maintenance of water scheme/ meter control.
» To ensure that the procedures established by association for water supply are implemented.
» To maintain intake structures pipe lines tanks and all structure of the scheme.
» To ensure sustainability and adequate water supply.
» To design and supervise extension for the scheme.
» To prepare Budgets and plans.
» To develop and implement strategies to improving revenue collection.
» To monitor quantity and quality of water of regular basis.
» To prepare technical and financial report on monthly basis and yearly
» To prepare Board meetings and implement board decision.
» To perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Board.
» To advise the Board on better performance of the water services as deemed necessary.
