Dar es Salaam. The Registration, Insolvency and Trusteeship Agency (Rita) has opened applications for certificate verification for applicants of the Higher Education Students’ Loans Board (Heslb) for the academic year 2022/2023.
Rita chief executive officer said the verification will be done online through a special portal listed on the Rita website.
“Last year, we experienced some challenges because some students did not verify their details on time, something which caused them to miss loans,” executive officer said.
Executive officer added: “To avoid a repetition of last year’s mishaps, we have decided to start the verification process as early as possible to ensure that all students verify on time.”
The verification process can be done at District Commissioners (DCs) offices across the country and at Rita main offices in Dar es Salaam.
“The documents needed are birth certificates and death certificates of parents or guardians of the students,” she added.
How to Apply and Verfy Online for Birth Certificate Verification
- Click on “List of services icon” and select “ ”
- Now Click on Apply icon under Birth Registration and Certificate section.
- In Login section, Click on “New Registration”
- Enter Applicant personal details and address details.
- Set your USER ID and Password.
- If you have forgotten your password, please click here.
- The User name is not case-sensitive, however, the Password is!
- Do not forget to logout once you have finished your work.
