FABEC INVESTMENT LTD (FIL)is a leading multi-disciplinary international contractor established and registered in 2003 in Tanzania with specialization in Civil Engineering works (covering roadwork’s, Telecom infrastructure, Water Resources infrastructure, bridges,) ; Mining services( covering mining infrastructure construction and maintenance, waste water management dams etc) , Telecommunication Engineering ( covering GSM network installation in 2G,3G,4G, LTE, FO, TSSR, Site Acquisition, MW links, Switches, Data centers and network optimization works); Electrical Engineering (Covering Generator and solar projects, Backup solution both to institution and household and High Voltage power Installation projects); Building Engineering (covering buildings of all types and categories, all type of construction works); Mining operations( covering Gypsum, Limestone, Iron ore mining and supply ); Logistics and general supplies services. As a legitimate multi-disciplinary company FABEC is registered by Tanzania Contractors board (CRB) as Telecommunication class III; Civil works class II; Build works Class II. The upgrade to class one is in progress.
Also FABEC is has passed Quality management System for ISO 1901 FABEC has graduated TOP 100 Mid-sized companies in Tanzania 2016 and joined Club 101.
Our Headquarters is located in Dar es Salaam Tanzania and it has Regional offices in Mwanza, Geita and Kigoma. FABEC has international office in Nairobi Kenya, Kampala Uganda, Kinshasa DRC, Brazaville Congo, Cairo Egypt and Harare Zimbabwe.

SITE ENGINEER
Responsibilities
a. Inspect facilities and analyze operational data
b. Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards
c. Compile estimates for technical and material requirements for project development
d. Evaluate operations and processes
e. Suggest process and technical design changes to improve performance and efficiency
f. Implement improvements to designs and processes
g. Test material and structural integrity
h. Research the environmental impact of projects
i. Incorporate eco-friendly and sustainable features into design plans
j. Create graphical representations of proposed solutions
k. Prepare proposal documents and presentations
l. Compile and present reports explaining project details to non-technical stakeholders
m. Monitor project progress, compliance with design specifications and safety standards
n. Direct engineering activities; assign tasks, provide training and support
o. Create work schedules and adjust as needed to meet project deadlines
p. Maintain detailed documentation of all site engineering activities
q. Collaborate with management to align activities with desired business outcomes

Qualifications
a) Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering, construction, building, or related field
b) State-issued certification or engineering license
c) Considerable experience in a similar position
d) In-depth knowledge of engineering, technology, building, construction, and design
e) Proficient in the use of computer aided design (CAD) software
f) Familiar with scientific analysis software as well as graphics and map creation software
g) Proven track record for managing personnel and material resources
h) Exemplary critical thinking, analytical, and complex problem-solving skills
i) Strong time management and project management skills
j) Active listening and verbal communication skills
k) Ability to use the scientific process to solve problems
l) Dedication to learning new concepts and strategies
