Summary: The U.S. Mission in Dar es Salaam is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position of Warehouse Foreman in the General Service Section.

Duties
Incumbent is part of the Dar es Salaam GSO Property Management Unit and reports directly to the Expendable Supplies Supervisor. The incumbent manages the GSO loanable property and the hospitality kit programs for Post. S/he maintains receipt, issuance, transfer, and disposal of all assets that fall under the GSO loanable property program.
Incumbent operates and is in charge of the stockroom for loanable property (including events supplies) and the hospitality/welcome kit supplies program. Maintains accurate accounting in ILMS Loanable Property. Establishes reorder points based upon supply and lead time to receive an order. Performs periodic and annual inspection of the storeroom to ensure that supplies are adequate and not excessive for all items, ensures that items have not become obsolete, and that all-important items are kept in inventory. Responds to all procurement unit status reports for orders, inspecting inventory levels to prevent future shortage whenever possible. Assists with the Annual Inventory.
Qualifications and Evaluations
Requirements:
EXPERIENCE: One year of storekeeping, warehousing, or supply chain management experience is required.
Education Requirements: Completion of secondary school O-Level is required.
LANGUAGE: Level II (Limited) (reading, speaking and writing) in English is required. Level II (Limited) (reading, speaking and writing) in Kiswahili is required.
