The National Council for Vocational Education and Training (NACTVET) is dedicated to providing quality technical education and training in colleges across Tanzania. We vigorously strive to ensure that our students receive an education that meets the criteria set by the market and any employment requirements, both locally or internationally.
NACTVET is excited to announce that the admission window for March 2023 is officially open! We encourage everyone who is looking to apply to take advantage of this opportunity. The last day to submit applications will be February 28, 2023, so make sure you’re prepared beforehand and get your applications in on time!
It is with great pleasure that we announce the admissions process for Certificate and diploma courses at various technical education colleges will begin on 30th January 2023 and close on 28th February 2023. In order to accommodate qualified applicants, most of these institutions are willing to accept new students with the exception of certain health-related courses found in mainland Tanzania. A list of participating Colleges can be found in the PDF attachment below.
All Graduate from Secondary school and Colleges across Tanzania are invited to send applications for admission directly to their respective institutions. Applications will be screened by the National Council for Technical Education (NACTVET) and those accepted will begin studies on March 27th, 2023.
Additionally, interested parties are encouraged to review both the Admission Calendar and list of college’s supplying programs to ensure they meet eligibility requirements listed in this announcement found on NACTVET’s website www.nacte.go.tz. NACTVET Admission Calendar 2023
Between 16 January and 27 January, 2023, colleges submitted applications to the NACTVET. Up until 28 February, the NACTVET received those applications. During 1 March – 12 March, 2023, colleges sent in the names of prospective students for review. From 13 – 20 March, the NACTVET conducted a screening process of applicants and eventually finalized their list. On 21 March, final decisions were announced by NACTVET and registration of selected students began on 27th and SEMESTER will begin.
