Overview of the Korea International Cooperation Agency and its Programs
The Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) is a government organization committed to providing economic and technical assistance to developing countries. KOICA’s programs are designed to promote economic growth and poverty alleviation, as well as to promote peace and stability in the world.
KOICA was founded in 1991 and is currently active in over 70 countries. KOICA’s programs are implemented through a network of field offices and partners, and they include development projects, technical assistance, scholarships, and volunteer programs.

SCHOLARSHIP COVERAGE
APPLICATION ELIGIBILITY
- Applicants should be a Public Servant,
- Be under the age of 40 as of February 1st, 2023,
- Should have a minimum of 3 years of working experience in the field of study,
- Have a good command of both spoken and written English,
- Have a Bachelor Degree,
- Be in a good health both physically and mentally,
- Have not participated in KOICA Scholarship Program or any Korean Scholarship before,
- The application forms should be typed (typewritten).
APPLICATION MATERIALS REQUIRED/SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS:
- Complete KOICA Application Form,
- University Application form with required documents for the given University,
- Permission from the applicant’s Employer,
- Graduation/Academic Certificate(s),
- Academic Transcript(s),
- Recommendation letters from the applicant’s supervisor or Professor with signature and seal as per University requirement,
- A photocopy of a Passport,
- Curriculum Vitae in English and
- All certificates must be notarized by the certified commissioner of oath

- Please open folder/file of the respective Training Program fill in then print and submit to this Office (President’s Office, Public Service Management and Good Governance) by hand or by post before the deadline.
