Duties and Responsibilities

1. To participate in planning, designing, installation and testing of electrical systems;
2. To collect data and information on plants and electrical equipment for improvement of plant performance;
3. To participate in preparation of project proposals related to electrical works;
4. To participate in evaluating electrical systems and products by designing and conducting research programs;
5. To study user needs on plant operation and participate in developing electrical solutions;
6. To assist in testing and assembling electrical systems and monitor their performance;
7. To prepare maintenance schedules of electrical equipment as per manufacturer’s instructions and established procedures;
8. To assist in maintenance and repair of electrical equipment;
9. To participate in planning, designing, installation and testing plant systems;
10. To collect data and information on plants and mechanical equipment for improvement of plant performance;
11. To participate in preparation of project proposals related to mechanical works;
12. To participate in evaluating mechanical systems and products by designing and conducting research programs;
13. To study user needs on plant operation and participate in developing mechanical solutions;
14. To assist in testing and assembling mechanical systems and monitor their performance;
15. To assist in developing water production and treatment processes by designing and modifying equipment for fabricating, building, assembling, and installing components;
16. To prepare maintenance schedules as per manufacturer’s instructions and established procedures;

Qualifications

Holder of Bachelor Degree in Electromechanical, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent from a recognized University/Institution. Must be registered as a Graduate Engineer by Engineers Registration Board (ERB).
