Duties and Responsibilities

1. To design database structures and objects including tables, views, procedures, functions, triggers etc.;
2. To perform database performance optimization and tuning;
3. To perform administration of systems and databases, server virtualization and server infrastructure;
4. To manage security aspects to the assigned systems, databases, integrity controls, related records, and documents;
5. To install, upgrade, and maintenance of software applications and databases;
6. To maintain, administration, monitoring, problem management, and production for databases;
7. To undertaking daily maintenance, testing, backup, and recovery of systems and databases;
8. To applying patches and upgrade of systems and databases;
9. To install, configure, operate, upgrade and maintain assigned systems hardware, software and infrastructure;
10. To provide appropriate infrastructure technology solution to support operations;
11. To provide technical advice and support in problem solving related to DBMS
12. To contribute to the disaster recovery and business continuity planning process regarding the assigned systems and infrastructure;
13. To assist in management of hardware devices, licensing and all programs as assigned;
14. To produce database reports when requested; and
15. To ensure high-availability of systems and services.

Qualifications

Holder of BSc/BEng in IT/IS/Computer Science/Computer Engineering or equivalent degree from a recognized institution.
