What is Saba Saba holiday Tanzania?
Saba Saba Day on 7 July celebrates (among other things) the 1954 founding of the Tanzanian political party, TANU, the Tanganyika African National Union. Saba Saba is in Swahili which means seven seven in English. Saba Saba also may refer to the Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair. The fair is held every year on this date in Saba Saba grounds near Kurasini in Dar es Salaam.

what is DITF event ?
Dar es Salaam International Fair (DITF) is an annual event organized by Tan Trade in collaboration with public and private sectors each year from 28 June to 13th July; DITF has positioned itself as an international trade promotion platform considered to be the largest of its kind in the Eastern and Central African Region in terms of the number of exhibitors and visitors.
1. Objective of Exhibition:
The main objective of the DITF is to facilitate exhibitors to showcase and demonstrate their goods, services and technology, attain new markets and explore new opportunities.
2. DITF Dates
Every year the Dar es Salaam International Trade fair (DITF) begins at 28th June to 13th July.
3. Product Categories:
The range of exhibits in the trade fair covers wide range of products such as agricultural products, foodstuffs and beverages, textiles, garments and yarns, manufactured products, furniture, construction materials, automobiles, electrical goods and appliances, chemicals, cosmetics, timber and furniture, trade services, engineering products, machinery, electronics, computer software and handicrafts.
4. Exhibitor charges and Co-Organizers package:
Participation space consists of shared pavilions, stand alone, self-built and open spaces, charges of participation as shown in the application form…link.
5. Expected number of visitors and visitor profile:
Number of visitors averages to 300,000 and exhibitors profiles range from Importers, wholesalers, agents, traders, consumers, business executives, Governments Officials, Diplomats, Political Leaders and members of the general Public.
6. Supporting partners and Promoters of Exhibition
Supporting partners of the Trade fair includes, Private manufacturing companies, Private sectors association, Financial Institutions like Banks, Ministries, International Development Organizations, Embassies and Mass media.
7. Important Highlights of the Trade Fair
Alongside DITF, TanTrade organizes several events which make the fair inviting and conducive one to carry out business successfully. Buyer – Seller meetings (conducted both physical and online) Symposium, Seminars and Tourist visits to National Parks are often arranged. The fair also coincides with the national festival culminating on the 7th July, which is the landmark in the country’s history whereby over 150,000 people visit the fair on this particular day.

How to register for participation in the DITF Exhibition ?
1: – click here: https://ditf.tantrade.go.tz
2: Register
Fill in your Information by starting and choosing the name of your company / Institute
and enter the correct email that you can login your password does not have to be your email. (combine letters and numbers)
3. Write the words (CAPTURE) regardless of capital letters (case insensitive)
4 Submit and then open the email you used to register there is a message sent there click on the link in the message.
4. You will receive a waiting message confirmed by TanTrade. Once verified you will receive a message as well and there you can login
5: In the login, at the top left there are three lines (Menu) click on those lines
If the menu does not appear press the button (Ctrl and +) twice (2)
6: After clicking on those lines (menu) the word Members will appear, please click on that Members
7: After clicking on the word Members look to the right of your screen you will see the word New, Please click on the word New
8: After clicking New then comes the place to put the names of the person you want to have the ID created
9: After filling in the names you will see the word Upload image click there, then paste the image from your file (make sure the image fits well and fill the whole box) size 200×200 or 300×300 pixels in jpg or jpeg format
10: ✅ is ready for badging click the box below it says, Then at the bottom right click the word SAVE
Do this with other names also depending on the number of tags you have been given
In addition, if you need extra badges you will need to request a control number from TanTrade once you have paid you will be added to the positions you paid for in your previously registered account.
