**Job Opportunity: People & Culture (HR) Officer**
The World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), an esteemed international conservation organization, seeks a capable and driven People & Culture (HR) Officer for placement in Dar es Salaam.
**Departmental Mission:**
To ensure the application of top-tier human resources management standards within WWF Tanzania Country Office, facilitating the execution of its Conservation Strategy.
**Key Responsibilities:**
– Assist in ensuring personnel contracts align with WWF Standards and the Tanzania Employment and Labour Relations Act 2004.
– Manage recruitment, induction, performance appraisals, contract compliance, renewals, and exits effectively.
– Implement best practices in human resources management across all WWF Tanzania personnel.
– Cultivate a safe, discrimination-free work environment for WWF TCO staff.
– Prepare regular People & Culture reports and presentations for managers as required.
– Collaborate closely with the Head of People & Culture, Department/Program Heads, and engage with relevant stakeholders on HR matters.
**Qualifications and Skills Required:**
– Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Public Administration, or related fields, with a post-graduate diploma in HR Management.
– Demonstrated experience in HR administration and management, with a minimum of 2 years in the field.
– Previous experience in an International NGO is advantageous.
– Familiarity with Tanzania’s employment and HR management legal and policy framework.
