#### Section I – Job Description
Overall Purpose of the Role:
Establish and maintain quality relationships with lenders throughout the lender management cycle.
Specific Tasks of the Role:
– Develop pipelines and establish contacts with potential lenders/funders for VFT MFB.
– Coordinate initial engagements to introduce lenders/funders to VFT MFB.
– Maintain monthly updates of VFT MFB profile for potential lenders/funders.
– Coordinate and disseminate information needed for due diligence exercises.
– Maintain all paperwork relating to lenders and loans.
– Ensure complete registration of all loans as per Central Bank requirements.
– Engage with lenders on technical assistance opportunities for VFT MFB.
– Prepare monthly foreign debts reports required by the Central Bank.
– Ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations regarding foreign debts.
– Prepare reports in the format and frequency required by lenders.
– Maintain a current covenants compliance report for management.
– Maintain repayment calendar/schedule for all loans and coordinate with finance manager.
– Perform monthly reconciliation between loan interest accrual schedules and accounts records.
– Collaborate with Head Office Accountant to ensure compliance with grant MoUs.
– Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Minimum education, training, and experience requirements to qualify for the position:
– General understanding of the microfinance industry and/or banking.
– Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written.
– Background in finance/accounting.
– Strong analytical and reporting skills.
– Good understanding of local regulatory requirements, especially around foreign debts.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
– Ability to model and demonstrate effective Christian leadership and devotions.
