**Position Available: Group Head of Sales and Marketing**
**Background:**
ABA Alliance Advisory Limited has been commissioned by a leading Manufacturing Industry client to secure a Group Head of Sales and Marketing. The appointed individual will be tasked with orchestrating the execution of sales and marketing strategies and leading the team responsible for these crucial activities.
Our client seeks to enlist an experienced, self-driven, dynamic, and ethically sound professional to join their team as the Group Head of Sales and Marketing, stationed in Dar es Salaam.
**Job Purpose:**
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the selected candidate will oversee all facets of sales and marketing endeavors. This role will involve harmonizing sales, marketing, and manufacturing operations to ensure alignment with market demands.
**Key Responsibilities:**
– Conduct comprehensive research and analysis on pricing, distribution, and marketing communications, providing strategic recommendations for product launches, market expansion, or enhancing market share.
– Gather and scrutinize data pertaining to markets, competitors, and consumer behavior to facilitate informed decision-making for advertising and marketing strategies.
– Manage both internal and external communications, including website content development, social media planning, public relations campaigns, email outreach initiatives, and creation of print and digital publications.
– Organize and oversee events such as conferences, seminars, and exhibitions, including the drafting of communication materials like press releases, feature articles, brochure content, and website updates.
– Supervise the Group’s marketing campaigns, ensuring that the marketing team adheres to deadlines and achieves set targets promptly.
– Develop effective marketing strategies for the introduction of new products into the market.
**Requirements and Skills:**
– Minimum of five years’ experience in the manufacturing and fast-moving consumer goods sector.
– Possess strong analytical abilities and excellent communication skills.
– Capable of managing high work volumes efficiently.
– Demonstrates integrity and maintains impeccable work ethics.
– Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a relevant field.
