**Position:** Manager, Digital & Innovation

**POSITION OBJECTIVE**
To spearhead digital transformation and foster innovation within the organization by leveraging emerging technologies, improving operational efficiency, and delivering cutting-edge solutions that empower teams, delight customers, and drive sustainable growth in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
– Lead teams in innovating and implementing operational efficiency strategies through the automation of manual processes to ensure smooth product operation.
– Inspire and drive other departments to automate processes by sharing technical expertise on digital solution implementations.
– Actively engage with colleagues to write business proposals for accessing donor and stakeholder funding for digital products.
– Provide leadership and a roadmap for financial inclusion projects, managing partners and donor-funded projects related to financial inclusion.
– Develop and enhance system solutions to align with the bank’s goals and strategies.
– Improve processes and automation to enhance efficiency, turnaround time, customer service, and compliance.
– Implement critical projects for the bank within agreed time frames and allocated budgets.
– Oversee the implementation of changes in the digital environment to minimize disruptions to bank services.
– Ensure adherence to appropriate policies, procedures, and processes in software development.
– Monitor, evaluate, and ensure completion of tasks and projects, including software development and documentation.
– Participate in various areas of the software development process and provide technical support to other company personnel as needed.
– Prepare documentation and technical reports such as business requirement specifications, project certification, and project closure reports.
– Ensure software is updated with the latest features.
**QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**
– Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Technology, Innovation Management, Arts in Design, Economics, Digital Media, Graphics Design, Computer Science, Electronic Science & Communication, Computer Engineering, Information & Technology, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Commerce, or equivalent qualifications from recognized institutions.
– Minimum of eight (8) years working experience in the banking industry or financial institutions (Master’s degree is an added advantage).
– Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
– Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and motivate cross-functional teams.
– Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality results.
– Proficiency in project management tools and software such as Microsoft Project, and familiarity with relevant technology platforms and systems.
