As the Director of Security, your role entails overseeing, directing, and evaluating security operations programs to ensure a secure environment for both employees and guests, as well as safeguarding all hotel assets.
General Duties and Responsibilities:
– Advise management on enhancing and implementing policies in alignment with security regulations, both institutional and legal.
– Ensure comprehensive security coverage of all hotel areas and the entire property at all times.
– Supervise the dissemination of written and verbal communications to inform managers, employees, and other stakeholders about security policies, procedures, and protocols.
– Oversee the development and delivery of specialized training programs to guide security officers and staff in making sound security decisions and taking appropriate actions.
– Represent the hotel in formal meetings with external organizations on security and protective services matters.
– Ensure thorough investigation and documentation of all reported crimes and incidents.
– Develop annual security objectives and goals.
– Maintain familiarity with anti-terrorism and bomb threat prevention procedures to effectively manage the team in emergency situations such as accidents or fires.
