**Job Title: HR & Administration Officer**

**Overall Purpose:**
As the HR & Administration Officer, your primary responsibility is to oversee human resources and administrative functions to ensure the smooth operation of DRC’s activities. This role is pivotal in maintaining compliance with DRC’s policies and procedures at the operational level, contributing to the development and implementation of base strategies.
**Main Responsibilities:**
**Human Resources:**
– Implement and uphold HR standards and procedures outlined in the DRC Operations Handbook.
– Facilitate all stages of the recruitment process.
– Collaborate with the Senior Management Team to devise individual development plans for employees aligning with DRC’s vision and strategic priorities.
– Develop induction packages for new staff and oversee the induction process.
– Manage the preparation of the Refugees Master roll and monthly refugee payroll.
– Ensure compliance with statutory deductions and submission to relevant authorities.
– Advise on general staff matters and assist in recruitment processes.
– Support staff performance and development initiatives, including training schemes.
– Assist in drafting employment contracts and managing leave and absences.
– Handle staff complaints and ensure adherence to the DRC Code of Conduct.
– Act as the focal point for health insurance-related matters.
– Promote staff development activities and facilitate training opportunities.
**Administration:**
– Support the Head of Finance and Administration in administrative tasks.
– Coordinate field visits for external visitors, including accommodation and transportation arrangements.
– Manage tenancy agreements and liaise with landlords.
– Assist in the development and implementation of safety protocols.
– Facilitate visibility activities and maintain staff databases.
– Coordinate working permits, visas, and staff registrations.
– Ensure proper documentation and filing systems are maintained.
– Oversee onboarding and exit procedures for staff.
– Supervise logistics-related tasks and office equipment usage.
– Ensure quality management of assets and timely repairs.
– Coordinate meeting bookings and track program requests.

**Logistics Duties:**
– Manage office stationery and consumable supplies.

**Supervisor Responsibilities:**

**Experience and Technical Competencies:**
– Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or related field.
